B-2 Anti-Slip Coating

Tools and Equipment
Handheld mixer, grinder, wire brush, water bucket, paint bucket, water container, protective tape, barrier, traffic maintenance equipment, and personal protective gear.

Instructions for use
1.Clean the floor thoroughly before painting, ensuring it is dry and well-maintained.
2.Use tools such as paintbrushes or roller brushes.
3.Mix the materials: Pour Agent A and Agent B into a mixing bucket and stir thoroughly.
4.The anti-slip coating contains anti-slip aggregates.
5.When applying the coating, it's important to stir continuously while brushing and ensure even distribution of the anti-slip aggregates.
6.If applying two layers, let the first layer dry before applying the second layer. Cure for at least 3 hours.
7.When applying this anti-slip coating on smooth surfaces such as fiberglass-reinforced plastics, metal, and glass, and in environments where it may come into contact with water, it is recommended to first apply a layer of our company's product J-9 Primer to enhance adhesion.

Preparation
1. Use a grinder or steel brush to clean the pavement. There should be no oil stains or solvent residues on the surface to prevent dirt from forming an isolation layer and causing the paint to peel off. Dust, attachments, etc. on the surface of the application area should be removed.
2. Install temporary protection and masking around the working area.

Primer Application
Only needed for smooth surfaces
1. Ensure the surface within the working area is completely dry.
2. Apply a thin and even layer of primer using a paintbrush.
3. Allow the primer surface to dry to the touch.

Mixing Material
Pour Agent B (Curing Agent) into Agent A (Topcoat) , mix thoroughly using a mixer, and stir for approximately 1 minute.

Paint Brush-Surface Application
1. Ensure the primer surface is dry to the touch.
2. Use a paint brush to evenly apply the mixed anti-slip coating. Allow the surface to dry before applying a second layer. The number of layers can be adjusted based on traffic volume requirements (minimum of two layers, maximum of four layers).

Roller Brush-Surface Application
1. Ensure the primer surface is dry to the touch.
2. Use a medium to long-haired wool roller dipped in the paint bucket. Remove excess paint and roll evenly on the metal surface. Allow the surface to dry to the touch before applying the next layer. The number of layers can be adjusted based on traffic volume requirements (minimum of two layers, maximum of four layers). Rolling application is suitable for flat surfaces such as stainless steel diamond floor plate, flat cast iron plates, asphalt, or concrete roads. It is less suitable for surfaces with deep patterns, such as manhole covers, to prevent the anti-slip coating from flowing into the grooves and making drying difficult. If using a lambswool roller, choose a short-haired lambswool roller and try to avoid excessive flow of anti-slip coating into the grooves of manhole covers.

Spray-Surface Application
1. Ensure the primer surface is dry to the touch.
2. Pour the mixed paint into the spray gun paint bucket and spray evenly on the manhole cover. When spraying, the spray gun should be about 15~20 cm away from the ground. Adjust the nozzle to avoid excessive paint, the key point of spraying is to spray it layer by layer, rather than spraying too thickly at once, which will affect the anti-slip effect.

Curing Time
Allow a curing time of at least 1 hour. Confirm dry and hardened before allowing passage.

Attention
1. Avoid painting on rainy or high humidity days.
2. In low-temperature conditions, use a heat gun or fan to assist in drying the coating paint.
3. The paint is water-soluble; clean paintbrushes or spray gun equipment with water.
4. Please use the mixed anti-slip coating as soon as possible.
